Well, sadly the server that had Klintorth on it died and there wasn't any available back ups :'( I've got the website itself on my PC but everything else (mainly the forums) has been lost

Hello to you Uragel. It has been a long long time. I am sad to hear of this little misshap you talk about, and no wonder i couldn't log in with my old name. I don't suppose you have a way of reaching the other members by mail do you?

Sadly, no I don't. The database has gone along with it and I don't believe there is a copy of it around anywhere

I'm sure a lot of the people will come by anyway but!...

-some people might have the forum linked as their favorit page over the site and if that URL is not the same..you know troubble

-some people might be confused when they can't log in with their own name (I was), and they may keep going back later thinking that it will be fixed.


I think you shold temporarely change the welcom text on the site to explaining what has happened. This way if they do go to the site they will immediatly see what has happened.


Anyway as I looked through the site and found some of my old posts I realised who I used to be. I was Askunge and I helped out with some minor things for the site a long time ago.

I hope things works out and get back to normal

So we go about our petty task, hardly aware of our listless attitude towards life.
